Preethi Steele MG 206 110 Volts Mixer Grinder, 550 watt, 3 Jars (Silver/Black)

Well, I can’t say how satisfied our entire family is with this mixer grinder. It is well built. The motor has overload protection feature. And the stainless steel jars are very well made. The lids slide into and out of the jars seamlessly. It’ll be two years this September since we bought it and is still running great. The quality is almost as good as the grinders that we get in India. All Indians in USA should know that the quality of the Indian grinders we get here is not on par with what we get in India. Again, before buying this grinder, I bought a piece of junk called Preethi Blue Leaf from East West USA Store, fulfilled by Amazon and that grinder is in this link:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XO1JZE/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Stay away from it in USA unless you know that you are buying it shipped and sold by Amazon or at least fulfilled by Amazon, so that you can be sure that you can return it with no questions asked in case you get a piece of junk like how we got. I’m lucky I bought that as fulfilled by Amazon. Otherwise it would have been $170 down the drain. We were so dejected with that item that we hesitated to buy any grinder for our Indian Kitchen for a while until my mother from India advised us that we can’t go wrong with this Eco Plus Grinder. Took her advise and bought it. No worries since then.To name a few, we make:1. Idly batter,2. Various kinds of Dosa batters like Minapattu, Pesarattu Guntur Style, Thick Pesarattu North Coastal Andhra Style3. Gravies for Koormas, Mutter Paneer, etc4. All kinds of Andhra chutnies like Beerakaya chutney, Vankaaya chutney, Gongura chutney, Tomato chutney, Palli chutney for Dosa and Idly, Mixed Palli-Putnaalu-Kobbari chutney for Dosa and Idly, Kobbari pacchadi for white rice, Kandhi pacchadi (a Guntur delicacy made from roasted toor daal),5. Various powders like Sambar Powder, Chaaru Powder, Nuvvula podi, my Mother’s Special Podi for Vankaaya koora, Putnaala podi, Kamma podi, Gunturu Kaarappodi….You name it, we make it. The same stuff I used to enjoy in my good old Guntur in India. Thanks to Amazon for bringing a smile on all our faces here in USA. I bought it sold and shipped by Amazon unlike some other unlucky buyers who got their hands burnt by dealing with General Elect, Gandhi Electronics etc. They are all con and scam artists. Unapologetic to the core! Take a bow, Preethi Eco Plus and Amazon!

Received on time..works as expected. But the 750 watts motor would be more powerful than this one.

At first I was apprehensive about the product but I was proved wrong. Decent Packing and fast delivery by Amazon. The grinder works fine. Good looks and good power. Good for daily use. A bit noisy but not unbearable. It would have been good it they provided with locking mechanism for wet grinding at least.

We purchased preethi mixer grinder for inlaws in sept 2017 and used it rarely for 2 years. Around may 2019 we started using it regularly for house hold things like chutneys or powders. But soon we observed that this system is very weak and started observing smoke even after 2 rounds of chutney making for 4 people. Slowly while observing more about the mixer we saw that it is a fake item. There is no preethi logo written anywhere on the mixer. Its very hard to differentiate fake vs real. Also, we observe sparks coming from inside. This is absolute cheating and robbery. Someone needs to address this. Im going to take the mixer to service center after the lockdown.In our houses mixers run for decades without issues.

It’s and excellent product. Blades never wear out. Grinds quick. And EXCELLENT customer service from Preethi, keep it up. They have a wonderful AMC plan to keep your appliance in top condition.

Ease to use and Like the product. No issues

This is an amazing product design !!I had better brands and higher watt power than this but believe me the design so awesome, specially the chutney jar doesn’t catch up heat even when I run on high number, and it is powerful yet non-nosey..it will not get in to overload mode, loving this product !!over all body of the motor is so compact, doesn’t occupy my counter space tooThe only draw back I see is the size of the chutney jar is too small than other models I had.

Good product. Grinding nicely. Serving it’s purpose.Well packed. Received on time. You may feel noisy….but I never seen any silent mixer grinder. So for me it’s okay.

I have preeti blue leaf which I bought from India in 2014, so my chutney jar is already replaced once. My parents bought that one from India, it was bad quality not grinding properly and noisy. We were planning to buy new mixer due to this as chutney jar is most used for grinding.Placed the order as second one stopped working ( worked for 4 years). Delivery was next day, from look itself it was of good quality. I am using it for a month now, no complaints.I use it to grind (wet grinding) coconut for chutnies and curry, and grind really fine.

Very good quality with all required attachments. Mixer, juicer and Atta kneader are very good. Only drawback is high noise

Preethi mixer grinder bought for d second time. First one was bought 12 yrs back. Very good n useful product.

Received a well packed package and the product is working superb and perfect.

I dint receive the additional attachments I’m just received the 3 jars. Paid 5k extra for these but dint receive

Evrything is good but very noisy

Very noisy and doesn’t grind everything. Leaves chunks as is despite adding some water or grinding more. Chunks of ingredients like coconut, garlic, ginger etc are always left.

Highly Recommended for Indians in USA

We have using the Preethi Mixer Grinder (Black, Silver) for over 2 months. It is simply the best grinder available in the market. Very sturdy and powerful for Indian food/spices grinding. We also use it for making milk shakes and it is fabulous!

As I brought this item after so many thought but this item is perfectly for super fine grinding of very hard items too. Like fine black pepper and so on. Just one thing which I don’t like in this grinder that’s the reason I am giving it 4 start if you don’t press very tight from the top it will be big mess up around .Because of grinding force it’s spelled out very bad.

Blue leaf model is the most successful model from Preethi and still now holding the same quality and service. The life time free service from Preethi is appreciated.The 3 Suction cups holds the mixer steady will operating and removing jars.Small, medium and larger jars, we use all three are frequently and these 3 jars is more than enough and also this extra volume reducer cap helps in times.As we are a family of two, we used to grind batter in mixer, and it comes very well.You can go with this without any doubts. This mixer is highly durable.Only cons is the heavy noise when compared with other mixers.

We still have to pay tax of 51 euros during the delivery of the product. Which is no where specified. And you also need an adaptor for using it in Germany.

Very good product. Can improve on lid fitting (small chutney jar). The blade in mid size jar came out (screw opened during using). Except for these two small things, it has proven performance.

I purchased one month back and used once and second time onwards it’s not working

The product stopped working after 10 months of purchase. There is only service center in illinois and being asked to ship the product for repair there. Its very suboptimal.Will not recommend for purchase.

Life long free service is added advantage with preethi. Motor used in this mixer grinder is same as Zodiac series. So grinding speed is high and noise is less. Only one of the jar is getting heated due to narrow shape. Otherwise mixer grinder is good quality.

It was bought to grind spices to make curry. Some of these are difficult to grind. The motor was strong enough. The body is solid as are the stainless steel cups.

I use this mixie for making dosa batter, smoothies, fruit juices, infant foods, chammanthi, etc….. I love this product as it is very useful to me. ….No other complaints till now……I love it.

The product seems damaged and jars have been used, the food content still sticked on the jars..It’s the worst experience ever, kindly replace items with the fresh new package..

The blades of the jars aren’t sharp enough.It takes time to cut and grinder gets warm or turns off because of heat

I have used all sorts of mixers, blenders and food processors but this one came on top without any issues. Easy to use and perfect for Indian cooking.

I bought this product in UK. It is working nice as of now. The blue light is not working. I tried to register this product using given link by Preethi – producers of Preethi. But there is no email reply / SMS reply whatsoever as an acknowledgment message from Preethi. When I contacted Preethi support group over email, they said me to contact the seller in UK. Hence, contacting you to get a registered copy of Preethi mixie.thanks’ in advance

Disappointing as the machine does not work after traveling. Don’t buy here.
