Slicers we are still to use looks it will also work well.0.5 Litre Chtney Jar:Most frequently used jar, felt it’s spaciously designed, grinding chutney and other items were smooth, and handle was also very sturdy.Juicer Jar :We used both centrifugal Jar and blender juice, centrifugal though good will be quite a challenge to clean after use and have to be handled with care during cleaning, blender juicer was good and does its job.1 Litre Dry Jar:Grinded masala and roasted coffee beans with it, masala grinded was smooth, Coffee was of Turkish coffee consistency, I expected it to be very fine of filter coffee consistency, nevertheless good Jar.2L Jar :Still to use, we will update as and when we use.Cons :1) Though not very noisy, but certain task like atta kneading may product a loud noise.2) Some accessories in master Chef Jar like Citrus juicer feel plasticy, doubt if it’s food grade.3) Cleaning master Chef Jar sometimes quite a challenge.Overall a very good addition to kitchen, you will take quite some time to use all its features.

Preethi Zodiac MG 218 750-Watt Mixer Grinder (Black/Light Grey)It’s a real looker..So I really wanted to replace my old mixer (Preethi Blue Leaf) and I was keeping an eye for this product for the past 6 months at least. Finally I bought it. First impression was AWESOME!! It looks really good.It was individually well wrapped on plastic bag and kept in a cardboard hosting. I am pretty sure that it was meant to protect it while shipping.So I started unwrap the bag and tried to assemble the jars and the bottom assembly (motor), I find that the jars are kind of dirty with some dust and smells like a ‘factory’ (probably it might have picked up from the manufacturing facility). So first thing first, I washed them individually using soapy warm water by hand and then rinse it with the motor running on normal water and everything was cleared and no foul smell. (I believe that Preethi should have taken care of this from their manufacturing facility itself) Not a deal breaker.Bottom Assembly (Motor Casing)***************************************It has a wide bottom and meant for stability with rubber holder (esp. while kneading atta using Master Chef jar), which does it’s job. Comparing to the Blue Leaf I had before, the air went is at the bottom (Good thing) so that if the jar is over flowing/leaking during grinding water seeping into the motor is minimal.It has two light indicator, one at the speed knob and other just below that, it lights Blue. It runs relatively quiet compares to Blue Leaf. (Good thing)I kind of felt that the knob is cheap. It is wobbly and it is not sturdy as Preethi Blue Leaf. It is the frequently used thing on the mixer and I don’t know why Preethi would go for a cheap looking/feeling wobble speed knob. It was just a turn off for the whole product. I saw that my product was manufactured on March 2017 as per the box (This product was released on April 2016 as per Amazon) and they haven’t fixed/noticed it (Very Bad).Motor coupler looks not really strong either. (If you’re wondering what motor coupler is, it’s the small white rotating thing that drives the jar). It just got four teeth and I kind of have a feeling that it will broke, if you run it with a heavy load (grinding turmeric/whole wheat) (Very Bad). Blue Leaf had 6 teeth on it’s coupler. I will update the review if the coupler is broken.Rating: 2/5Master Chef Jar*******************This is one the jar that was advertised heavily on this mixer.Well, Is it gonna replace your food processor? Read on.Mater Chef jar comes with it’s own set of accessories.Grating and slicing bladeBeater and chopping bladeCitrus juice extractor.It was marked up to 1500ML as the maximum volume. However, if you run this with 500ML water, it just over flows! So the actual liquid volume is little over 400ML, when you run the jar with liquid in it, it just climbs the side and over flows.. So watch out. (Bad)The slicing blade came with just one size. How you’re going to make thick/thin slices with just one blade? (Bad) I am not sure if there are different size blades available for purchase separately, if yes, please put that in the comment section below.Preethi ships just the grating/slicing blade where you can attach to a disc. The scary part is that I almost cut myself while trying to change the blade. You really need to watch out while changing the blade.(Horrible Design Flaw)There is a gear assembly on the Master Chef jar to reduce the torque (rotating speed) on this jar. And the gear assembly is poorly designed (how???), It just create a very loud uncomfortable noise. It is really loud that I hate to use the whole jar.. What a bummer!!So to answer the first question. Will this replace your food processor?? Hell NO!!Rating: 3/5Juicer Jar***********The 3-in-1 Insta Fresh Fruit Juicer Jar is another hyped jar. It comes with two sets of blade and a pusher. It really extract juices out of apples, Grapes, pomegranate etc really well. You can use the spout to extract the juice instantly or you can draw it from the jar itself. (Good thing)Cleaning can be a daunting task as it got several parts. So I try to use only when I need to use this for larger quantities or when some special occasions.Other Jars************It got other three Stainless Steel jars. (Big, Medium and Small). I just love them. They looks really good and build perfectly. I really like the small jar (Chutney Jar), which now got a handle! (Really Good thing)Rating: 5/5Conclusion:**************This mixer is not dish washer friendly, which means that you need to hand wash this everytime. The juicer unit is handly, the juicer blade however is very limited to pulpy fruits and you CANNOT use it for Carrot!. If you want to extract from carrot or beetroot or amla type vegetables, buy Juicer-mixer such as Philips Viva series. The Citrus extractor is another plastic unit which sits on top of the Chef unit (Food processor) with which you can easily extract juice unlike juicer. This is handy. The Juicer extractor unit is also very helpful when you try buttermilk from curd and also handy for extracting coconut milk!.Food Processor (Chef Jar)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It is wrong to call this food processor, but it does some of the job such as Atta kneading, Chopping or slicing the vegetables. It is able to chop carrots, beetroots or cocounts very easily. I have not seen it stuck. however the vegetables need to be first cut in to small peices. Overall don’t expect this to satisfiy as food processor, these are just few extras you get. Didn’t try meat slicing yet. We are able to knead up to 4 cups of flour, but the manual says up to 6 is possible. 1 cup is for 3-4 chapathis. You need to reduce the water little bit less than what manual says, else it will be very stickyRegular mixie purpose~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We tried the other three jars, they performed well for chutney as well as for batter. The mixie as usually heats up after continuous runs. So you must wait for it to cool, else your batter will not be good!. We did not observe any fault in this 1 month of usage. MostNegatives:~~~~~~~~1. Cleaning of the chef jar esp after atta kneading is a mess2. Shakes when kneading atta vigorously. Does not glue well on floorFinal verdict:~~~~~~~~~~Overal, we are happy and no complaints. Though we will not be using all of this, but atta kneading is very handly right now, esp you can now safely add hot water and start keanding which was not possible with hand. With this jar, we can chop, slice, grate, press juice etc, which are quite good and usable but I guess it will be used only at some occasions.Kneading is where this appliance shines.. Its something that we use every other day. We use this to prepare dough for chapati, pizza base, pita bread, etc. It takes about a minute to prepare the dough, and I can promise that it’s far better and effortless than what one can do by hand. But in the second received faced lot of problems and I ensure product is not worth for its price of Rs 13,283/-The good thing about the product is Dicing and Atta Kneading. While Atta Kneading thin film of oil or gee to be applied in the jar circumference or sides and stem to avoid sticking of flour.This review after 12 days of usages later returned product.First problem is the machine produces a lot of noise which is more irritating, and when using a master chef jar the noise will increase due to gear arrangement. This u can hear from video or understand when u use it. Even recent Engines produce less noise than this mixer.Secondly, the mixer jars get overheated so that it can’t be touched with bare hands, within 1 min of dry grinding. I have uploaded a grinding video of turmeric to see the vapour coming out of the jar. This happened within 1.5 min of grinding fresh turmeric pcs, and not the half grinded turmeric.Next I would like to share abt juicer jar. It is not working as expected. It is wasting a lot of fruit pulp, which can’t be borne by a salaried person. It is also not so easy to extract coconut milk as I have seen almost in all Youtube Videos. It took 30 to 40 min to extract one jar capacity and that too not completely, same lot of pulp left, then I grind in another jar and squeeze it with a filter as usual. It is not so helpful as per me, instead increasing the job, but as a buyer u can decide for u.Finally if u plan to buy a food processor, u can better choose other products than Zodiac. It’s not worth the money as it was displayed in front of us, the manufacturer has to do improvements on their product and improve its quality.

This brand has taken extra care to ensure customers are taken care. 5 yrs warranty for a 600 w mixer grinder with 3 Jars. This is rarely seen in the market. Performance is first class. Noise is low. Grinding is perfect. I did hard coconut grinding & turmeric. Was perfect. Going to recommend this.

Overall usage of the product is good, all the jars are very useful and specially master chef jar helps in everyday chopping, grating of vegetables process – 5star for just that addition.Noise – Noise is too much compared to other mixer grinders and very Loud, but one good thing quickly completes the grinding process, so doesn’t matter unless it’s a very quite space.Best thing is can prepare various stuffs like Idly or dosa batter with 1ltr jar and with master chef jar can make chappati dough within a minute.Product is good for overall use but not great, compared to the previously using Preethi blue leaf mixer grinder. It was having minimal option with great usage, Zion has multi purpose but it’s not great.

Preethi Zodiac Mixer Grinder is excellent. Its Dry and wet grinding are good with fine pasted / Powder within a few seconds, though the Noise level is little high. But the Chopper is not so good. I tried chopping Cabbage and it became too fine like a paste, when I pulsed it for 6-7 times. If I stop after 3-4 pulses, several large pieces remained on the outer side in the jar. I expected uniform fine pieces. My curry became a paste. I got disappointed. Except Chopping, everything else is good.Thanks

Bought this in 2018, the jar handles disintegrated and my jar doesn’t have handles since 2021.The jars leak, and are hard to remove from the mixer after using given its got no handle. Very low quality plastic used for jars

We have purchased this recently and quality of the mixer grinder is okay but the main problem is jar the size of it is very small and no 500 ml jar it has 300 not enough for small quantity check and buy or you will be fooled

I strongly advise against buying this product. It is extremely noisy and does not grind properly. The motor makes a jerking sound when grinding rice or any hard ingredients. It seems suitable only for making juice.Please avoid Preethi mixers in general. A friend of mine purchased a different model from the same brand and faced similar issues — excessive noise and poor grinding performance, especially with rice or other hard items. I got to know this when I shared my experience with him.

For those looking for mainly food processor, Absent Slicer blade at this rate. Only available in Cosmo Preethi model at rate of 15,000.Spice jar usage is little bit tricky.Can put as low as 4 garlics as not grinding but not more than 10-12 garlics as per limit mentioned.

Motor and Build quality is worth mentioning. The design is attractive and motor speed is powerful and grinding is faster and food processor does the job quite well. We tried making Chapathi kneading with low expectation but the outcome was good as the chapathi was soft. The onion and tomato slicing was much better than what we thought. The jar variations provided will help a lot. Overall one of the must required kitchen appliances and worth the buy

Yesterday i recieved this mixer grinder I ordered from Amazon, and I am very disappointed with the product.During the first trial use, the motor became hot, and both the motor and jar coupler got burned, with a burning smell coming from the unit.Additionally, there was no owner’s manual or warranty card included in the box, which is completely unacceptable for a new product.I am currently struggling to return this item. When I try to process the return, it only redirects me to live chat, and even in the chat, my issue was not resolved.I don’t know what else to do at this point. The mixer works okay like any standard mixer grinder, but the food processor features are disappointing. Kneading is fine, but slicing works only for potato chips and not for regular vegetables. Grating is Okay and can be done by mixers that cost much less.The build quality is just okay and definitely not at the price level. It is quite loud, and overall doesn’t justify the ~nine or eight k price tag. The food processor attachment feels more like a namesake addition. If someone really needs food processing, it’s better to buy a separate food processor instead of relying on this one.

One of the best mixer grinder I can say it is having a very good jars the build quality is good it grinds smoothly and it is of low noise as well personally I liked this very much it has a very good power as well. And the size is also compact which fits in less space
