Bosch TrueMixx Pro Mixer Grinder 1000 Watt-MGM8842MIN, BlackReview:I usually do not write reviews, but I felt I had to write this one, because when I was researching which mixer to buy I found really bad reviews that do not do justice to the product. I went with the trust on Bosch brand name and am extremely satisfied with the product. I have been using it daily, sometimes multiple times in a day for past month during lockdown period. The mixer-grinder 1000 watt motor is extremely powerful.I have used it to grind both dry & wet ingredients such asgaram masala, idli/dosa mix, Chana dal paste, Poppy seeds paste,coconut chutney, dry rice and urad dal powder, ginger garlic paste, ice, etc.I regularly blend and make milk shakes, lassis etc and have found it to very fast and convenient.2. Does the job fast within few seconds/minutes depending on the amount and type of ingredients you are working with.3. Body is good looking, sturdy, well balanced and easy to wipe clean.4. The vacuum feet are quite secure and give a true hands free experience.5. Overload protector for added safety helps if you overload the mixer by mistake.6. The jars also are easy to use and quite well-builtJars & Blades1. The jars are metal with removable stainless steel blades.2. Chutney jar blade is fixed.3. An extra blade is provided for stone pounding affect.4. A spatula cum blade changer is provided.5. The Jar lids are made of transparent plastic.6. Each lid has a small top cap which can be removed to add liquids/materials while grinding/blending.7. Each lid has rubber gaskets. This gives a completely leak proof experience while grinding/blending. These gaskets are very easy to remove and attach.8. All Jars have 4 fibre clasps to close the jars.9. In the blender jar a juicer attachment has been provided – this is the only thing I have not used, hence I cannot review the performance of this attachment.10. Blender can be used without the juicer sieve, and works fine.11. In wet blender a flow-breaker is providedSoundSound is high, but that is to be expected in a powerful 1000 watt machine.Do’s & Don’tI feel if we follow certain guidelines we can best out of the product1. Do not overload2. Do not use for more than a minute without giving a little rest.3. When turning the speed knobs – don’t turn all at once from 0 to max. You will see that it works better if you turn knobs slowly, staying at each speed for a few seconds. Actually for most things low to medium speed is enough. The machine is really powerful.4. When grinding large amount of ingredients the jar can heat up ( not the machine) so give a little rest in between.5. For wet grinding – use cold water to grind – that way the jar will never heat up.6. DO NOT grind hot ingredients. Many people have complained about the rubber gaskets melting – that can only have happened if hot food are being blended or ground. Bring food to room temp and then grind.7. Wash the jar, gasket, jars immediately using a sponge and liquid detergent so that the shine of the jar remains intact.8. Always remove and wash the gasket to avoid unhygienic conditions as food can get under the gaskets.9. In the wet blender remove the flow breaker by sliding it off and wash it separately as food particles can get stuck behind it.10. To remove fine particles when dry grinding don’t use a spoon to avoid scratches to the jar. You can use your hand and a brush ( used for this purpose only).11. This is an expensive piece of equipment – In my house only I & my husband use it. We do not allow children or household help/cooks to use it. This way the machine will not be misused.12. If you mixer does not work – please check the overload protector button on the underside of the machine. Remove some of the ingredients and try again.13. Take care while handling jar lids and lid tops – Although they appear quite well made, I cannot say if they will break when dropped.Pros1. The machine is very powerful and delivers what it promises2. The overload protector works perfectlyCons1. Guarantee & Manual – The Manual has to be downloaded from the Amazon websiteThe Amazon payment is the guarantee. There is no separate guarantee card provided. I had to call Amazon to understand the situation regarding the guarantee card.2. Delivery – The mixer-grinder came in a box but there was no special Styrofoam padding. This was a big minus for me.3. A couple of extra lid clasps should be provided – one of my lid clasps was loose, it is working fine at the moment, but as a backup company should provide these.4. As the jars are pretty large, for smaller amount of products it is a little difficult. I wish the smallest chutney jar was usable for both dry & wet grinding rather than only wet.5. The jars do have screws heads on the inner side – but this is not a big deal – and can be cleaned quite easily.

A nice and sturdy body. The jar quality seems to have degraded as compared to our last prestige mixer, which lasted a good 10+ years. The handles also were useful in the old one, missing here….The blades are as good as used to be. Overall, other than the change of shape, delivers what prestige is expected to. I do hope the jars last well.

Elegant design with great power. This product is tuned to perfection and it grinds so well with minimum time consumption. Such a combination of quality and great design is a rare combination and this Mixer is a perfect combination. I would say just go for it if you want a quality Product.

This has a horrible locking mechanism at bottom . Normal people can’t use it . Takes long time to fit it in the base . Finally a servent broke the lock after one month and looks useless . Waiting for service. Very high nose level . If you want to irritate neighbour a very good tool.

2 nd day after purchasing we started using, we found lightning from motor.. lot smoke and smell.. we complained and immediately Amazon replaced the same product, after 3 days got new piece. For 10 days this piecenis good.. now after 4th November 2021 the return or replace time is over.. the piece new piece started troubling… trouble is the same.. i dont know how to proceed to prestige… which customer care I should meet.. along with this package… now, i am in dilemma, if i should avoid online shopping which i trusted from 5 years or prestige company which i always felt is only trustworthy company.

One of jars is not grinding properly. Noise level is very high.

Apart from some scratches inside chopper all was good must be from product testing one thing for sure was not a used item all of the bases had one yellow dot in bottom possible some manufacturing thing looked like a stain first but all of them had it apart from that only thing I did not like was all 6 jars base were made of plastic & handle design felt cheap was comfy to hold though but mind you grade a plastic was used base & handle should have been metallic no cheap material on this device I really loved full metal build on main unit body & water leakge proofing in the device liquids will not get logged in the motor touch point what’s more I love this juicer can even make smoothies & shakes & healthy vegetable juices out extremely hard vegetables & fruits word of caution do not use much sticky fruits will be hard to remove from plastic jars steel jars will not face same issue & that’s not all the multipurpose jar let’s you make chutneys, jams & store them using a given lid this is entirely worth it’s price would have given 5 stars if jar base was made of metal at least for steel jars that is. & mind you tha packaging was super secure & top notch no damage wear & tear to the box at all was covered by some very hard material from all edges was delivered super securely by prestige no Amazon packaging though although was not entirely missed prestige paked thier appliance pretty well

I appreciate its functioning but has not received Warranty card and the user manual. Amazon to look into the matter .I m pretty much satisfied with the chutney and kneading jar but I have experienced buring smell and fumes from the other jars . Without any warranty card I m confused whom to complain . My advice.. don’t buy the product.

This is what I gifted myself for this festival season and it’s amazing!!! I really liked the fact of how compact everything is and yet delivered the best output. The parts are really sturdy and it’s very useful for day to day usage. I particularly loved the juicer part where you can add veggies and fruits of your choice to get delicious and healthy juice within no time. The atta kneading jar is also amazing. The vegetable chopper also does a superb job. This whole thing really helped me save a lot of time during the morning hustle.So if you want to buy it, do give it a try. You will definitely love it a lot.

Highly disappointed with amazon and prestige order this last year in diwali and started using this year from Jan, my mom used only twice and smoke started coming from the motor, cant believe this poor quality from prestige, Ashiwarya aur Abhishek Bacchan ko paise kam do aur product quality mein paise lagao prrestige.DISAPPOINTED

Mixie Motor inside the juicer mixer processor is very noisy but overall grinding experience is awesome 👌. Also need improvement in knob blade designs. Prestige needs to ponder about these things fast as competition is stiff in home Appliances these days…

Hello, the mixie burst after of course 2 years of use today, so am here to give the review after the 2 years i bought it. But from the 2nd month, it had issues with the knob, changed. then the jars went one after another every 6 months, the bush and base all were low-quality rubber and steel. I ended up having a different jar bought off the shelf, and only the base was to be called a mixie which was original, even that burst today when none was home after 2 hrs when the whole mixie finished burning and also started spreading in the nearby cabinets when we got the message from neighbors of smoke and rushed to see the damage is already done.Advice, never attempt online purchases for branded products.

I’ve been using this for 3 months now.The Really bad:The blender jar has a major flaw. If you use it for blending (I have tried lassi, milkshake, smoothies), liquid spills out from the spout when running. I scheduled a warranty service but the technician told me that this jar is only for juicing and the metal jar is for bending. I concluded that it’s a design flaw which Bosch is unwilling to admit. The metal jar can be used for blending, but its small if you’re blending for 3-4 people. This would have been a dealbreaker if I knew this beforehand as I blend a lot.Bad but manageable:1) The metal jar lids are weirdly shaped and lots of liquid gets stuck in it, so you end up wasting a little bit of whatever you’re making. The lids are also much more messy than a regular dome lid and also a little tougher to clean.2) The small cap in the lid for adding things is really loose. You have to be careful when turning the lid upside down or it falls and breaks.3) Food gets stuck in the flow breaker. It’s also not very intuitive to remove and I have a feeling it will be easily broken by the househelp when cleaning.4) Flow breaker and the pounding blade don’t make a noticeable difference to the end result, and I have completely stopped using them.The Good:1) Great looking and has a small footprint2) Noise levels aren’t bad. A 1000 W motor will definitely be louder than a 400 W one (typical home mixie wattage) but even then it’s not super loud and is very manageable.3) Very, very powerful. Pulverises anything you throw at it instantly.

The grinder is very noisy. Using it for sometime now, the grinding quality is not great! It is not able to gring properly small coconut pieces. Motor quality may be good since its Phillips, but blades could have been better.

Quality is good and performance is also great. Only issue is it makes a lot of noise.

Product is good, jars are nice sometimes blender doesn’t do it’s job at core while making smoothies, rest of the product I’d say it as an average quality.Phillips could deliver better product quality at this price point

This Mixer is very silent but very good it also comes with 5 jars all good quality.I only had one issue with the control know but it was fixed by Prestige under warranty so you know it is a great brand with very good after sales service.

i was sceptical about this mixer grinder by seeing some of the reviews but some people expect outrageously and review so illogically. the mixer grinder is just awesome, very nice product from prestige. better than the Bosch one especially it’s so hectic to Clean the Bosch jars and caps all the nonsense unmindful design. but this prestige is so mindfullly designed and i am very happy with the product. smashed my coconut into fine paste with in no time, very powerful motor. Thank you.

After 23 months motor burned, new motor fitted free of cost by warranty. I am not satisfied about this product.
