Philips 1000 Watt Mixer Grinder with 10-Year Warranty on product registration, 4 Stainless Steel Multipurpose Leak-Proof…

This sandwich maker generates good heat and so the sandwiches come out toasty and crisp in less than 4 mins. The plates will also cut and seal the bread, but they are a bit small and cramped so bits of toasted bread will fall into the cracks and you would need to trim the bread before putting it in. The plates are not removable so best to grease them before use as they can be difficult to wash.

I did decent research before buying a mixer grinder and finally decided to buy this one. After using this mixer for a week, here are positives and negatives I found about this machine.Pros:1. Seriously powerful motor. No Jokes.2. Motor is heavy (weight wise) and seems of tough built quality. I bought prestige 750 watts mixer also and its motor’s & jars weight was half of what philips has provided and was giving a feel like a toy.3. Good steel quality of jars.4. Good plastic quality of lids.5. I tried a variety of things from Haldi to Ginger, it can grind everything within seconds (if you are using the right jar).6. Suction cups at bottom really work and keep the mixer stable.7. I like its Knob. It has contrast color and is in front to give clear idea of when it is powered on and off. So, it saves you from accidentally powering on main switch when the knob is already turned on.8. Compact and trendy. I like its design.9. Juice jar works great for extracting juice of fruits that have more juice and less pulp. I tried water melon juice and it was delicious.10. Philips service is nice. I called them up and they came just next day with the right tools. (I will tell you in cons section why I called them)11. The mixer produces a loud but smooth sound. Inspite of loud sound, it is not irritating. You should also note that the more powerful motor you purchase, the louder it would be because of high RPM. So you should rather target on smoothness of sound rather than silence.Cons:1. The most frustrating thing with this, and over 80% mixer grinders available on internet is that THEY DO NOT HAVE LID LOCKS. My last mixer was of Maharaja Whiteline. That mixer grinder had “Twist to Lock” lids. So, you can use it without putting hands on the lid. But Philips mixer is not that case. It just has a rubber around the lids which somewhat makes it tight. But it will blow off if you don’t put your hands on it.Add: Philips also have twist to lock lid in juicer jar.2. Although the mixer’s motor has smooth sound, but the jars produce frustrating sound when they are about to stop. You can replicate that sound easily during whip. When it is moving at constant speed, no noise. But when you stop it, last 3 seconds are very frustrating. It has ticking sound has if you have 2-3 small stones in the mixer. I called the service guys but they said this sound is normal and expected. I don’t expect this type of quality from philips. Jars blade is not touching anywhere inside, but the sound is rather coming from an internal, rotating mechanism. Bad, really bad.3. Mixer tends to heat (jar, not motor) when used for more than 30 seconds. If you use for 2 minutes for dry grinding, you’ll not be able to touch the jar.So, here we have all positives and negatives about this machine. Inspite of having issues, I have not requested return. This is because all the machines I found were having some faults. The faults philips have is most tolerable. I will be happy with the purchase if the sound produced in jars is not mechanically damaging it. I am worry free as of now because it has 2 years guarantee on jars and 5 years on motor.As far as lid lock is concerned, I adjusted myself because it grinds anything within 10-15 seconds. So, I don’t mind holding the lid. Juice and shakes takes time and that jar has lid lock. So, I am kind of fine with it.My final suggestion is, you can go with this mixer grinder if your priority is fine and powerful grinding and you are willing to spend around Rs. 4000. Problems would be tackled because the service is doorstep and responsive.Do not buy this if you need a juicing facility also. It’s juicer jar is just a toy in front of a dedicated juicer mixer grinder. For juicing, you can buy Philips HL7576 without thinking much.

It is no good for the U.K. the plug does not comply with British Standards, and the seller had the cheek to say he had added an adapter! The adapter was for use in the USA. I am still waiting for a refund. However, I consulted an Electrician, and he changed the plug to our standard three pin, and is now O.K. but I would rather not have had all the hassle.

Je l’utilise pour broyer des épices entiers en poudre, pour faire des purées de gingembre-ail, d’oignons ou de tomates, ou encore de riz,des lentilles…etc.Mais attention, ne rajoutez surtout pas de liquide dans le mixeur (à part une ou deux cuillère à soupe), car la cuisine entière, y compris vous-même, sera affectée. —d’après mon expérience.Mais j’aime toujours ce mixeur car on ne peut pas retrouver la même qualité de finesse et puissance, chez les autres marques.

I’m usually skeptical about claims made by brands. Saw Preethi Taurus Pro claiming grinding in 90 seconds. I do a lot of grinding on a daily basis for chutney, flour and even atta. Since I was looking for 1000 watts I went ahead with Preethi Taurus Pro & believe me, I was completely blown away. This does real tough grinding in seconds. Though they claim 90 seconds, I finished by hard ingredient grinding in 60 seconds & the output was excellent. Close your eyes and buy this. Worth the money.

What I disliked is that this was a combo deal with a Philips induction cooktop. The induction cooker was a second hand piece which was used by someone earlier. It had all the marks of previous usage and the carton was already opened and torn condition. I would like to return the induction cooker. But the mixie was super.

I liked this one for it’s efficiency in work done fast.. I used to have old Preethi for last 10 years. So i trust this company enough to buy Taurus version. It’s quicker than the old one.. but very high noise. I usually use this one for chutneys , powders and for batters.. for batters..you have to make sure it isn’t overloaded.

Writing this review after using it for a couple of months. So many issues with it.First of all 1000 watt is not required for a household. It is a little too much.It just jerks so many times while grinding and the dome lids are not closing well, they are spilling the mixture all around once it is started.I was doing the dosa batter and the batter got so hot. It is making the mixtures so hot which is not at all good. Too much noise as well.Don’t believe the positive reviews and buy it, that’s the mistake I did. Never suggesting this to anyone.

My very first purchase from the house of Sujata. I researched high and low for a new mixer grinder after my 27 years old Usha was given away (it still worked!) and my final two picks were Panasonic and Sujata. Both these brands are high on quality, durability and workmanship. I’ve read reviews of many people owning them for more than a decade; although Sujata mixers running continuously have the highest number i.e. of 30+ years!I wanted an upgrade on both quality and wattage from my previous single jar 750 watt Usha. Panasonic didn’t have a very high wattage with their highest model fixed on 750 watts; the Monster model which I found quite nice. I read quite a few reviews of people complaining of the lid locking system not sitting right, because of which the grinder wouldn’t run. This was a kicker. Buying their lid alone isn’t very cheap, plus any locking mechanism failure will render the whole unit unusable. I was willing to overlook this, but the repairing costs after the warranty period was the deal-breaker for me. The parts are not readily available and the repairing isn’t easy and cheap. I was obviously looking for a long time gig in the mixer purchase, so I wasn’t too happy on these parameters. Another not-so-important reason was the option of adding a third-party food processor attachment. No such attachments are currently available in the market for Panasonic, which was a bummer!Sujata scored on quality, robustness, longevity, parts availability and third-party attachment options. I purchased the Dynamix for Rs.5790 and supplemented it with the robust aluminium-base Frootmix blender jar from Flipkart for Rs.915, together costing me Rs. 6705 which worked out to be a great deal. I had first ordered the Supermix model and ordered the large 1500ml steel jar separately, but upon more research, I found out that the middle 1 litre jar of both the Dynamix and Supermix models are not the same, contrary to my assumption. One reviewer on YT found the Dynamix jar weighed heavier (by 30grams), had a wider lip, wider lid brim, thicker rubber gasket and flow breakers on the body, which are all absent on the Supermix jar. I found this out just in time and could cancel the order in transit and promptly ordered the Dynamix along with the Frootmix blender jug.The product quality is sublime. You can easily see the commitment to quality by Sujata. The sincerity and abundance with which they make their original parts available (of the entire motor and all attachments) online and offline reminds me of the good old Maruti 800 car. Any problem with it and the nearest mechanic would easily find the right part at a great cost and repair it in a jiffy! I’m glad companies like Sujata are maintaining their quality and robustness for the last 45 years (Usha grinders were great in the 80s, and early 90s, but since the 2000s, their mixers are not as robust and long lasting as before).I first ground a 2kg mixture of dry fruits, which also consisted of fox nuts and 250gm of rock hard babool gum (or gond). I was done in less than 12 minutes! I was a little apprehensive about the gum as I usually fry it in ghee and then grind it, which makes it softer and fluffier and easier to grind. But this time I decided to test the grinder with the rock-hard pieces as is. I divided the quantity in 2 smaller portions and replaced the dome lid with a small steel lid as the gum pieces will initially be cut up and flung with a lot of force, potentially causing cracks or deep scratches on the original lid, and I wasn’t taking a chance with this new baby. I pulsed the machine for a few seconds, then ran it on the lowest speed, stopping every few seconds. There was a noisy racket inside the jar! But after a few seconds, the hard gond turned into a fine shiny powder and there was no spillage on the lip whatsoever. What a success! I then used the small chutney jar to make a simple chutney and it was a delightful experience. The chutney was smooth and silky and although I didn’t lock the lid with the clips provided and only held the lid down firmly, nothing spilled out on the outer rim.The motor sound is bearable and cannot be categorised as loud. It sounds smooth and supple. The wire is long and every part is thoughtfully made. The latest black option is also available which is priced around nearly 1000rs higher than the normal white model, but Sujata hasn’t released any separate black coloured attachment or part for this model which can lead to a colour mismatch if an additional jar/jug/lid is purchased later on.All in all, my Sujata experience has been great and I’ll come back and update my adventures with it. I would wholeheartedly recommend this brand to anyone looking to buy a mixer/grinder.

I tried a few other brands but had to return the same due to quality issues. Finally I decided on Philips with a lot of hesitation as the price is quite a bit more than other brands. Happy to say it was a very good purchase and totally worth it. Sandwiches come out crisp . Need very little butter/oil for toasting and it is a breeze to clean. Great nonstick coating

All the new models of preeeti and vidiem seem fragile and designed to break. The blue leaf is the last of the most reliable and strong products of Preeti. Product was delivered well. We make juices and blended cashew curry and abc juice well. The juicer also works neat.Love the product. Good buy. Don’t waste money on the recent models.

This grinder has superfast and superfine grinding. It took only 10-15 seconds for superfine grinding. It has separate transparent jar for juicer and have nob to pour it. Jar’s lid are classy designed. Total 4 jars for separate items. Noise is also very low. Overall a good product.

Excellent mixer grinder. Only three jars without any additional accessories. Those are extremely fit for the kitchen. Compared to my previous preethi blue leaf silver, this is very powerful. Attractive design. This one is worth for the money.

I’ve been using this Philips sandwich maker for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly been a lifesaver for my morning routine. Overall a good product with little design flaw in both grind and store and turbo spice jar. Because of the outer layer design sometimes after wash the water is getting inside the plastic layer.. also we can’t able to buy the jars outside if it is broken because of the new design.

The media could not be loaded. Today, I received the delivery of a Philips iron. After checking it, the iron looks good, but the temperature dial is not turning properly at level 3. It works well at temperature levels 1 and 2 only. It is shared send video this. I would like to request an exchange for a new iron.
