I went with the trust on Bosch brand name and am extremely satisfied with the product. I have been using it daily, sometimes multiple times in a day for past month during lockdown period. Many people have complained about the rubber gaskets melting – that can only have happened if hot food are being blended or ground. Bring food to room temp and then grind.7. Always remove and wash the gasket to avoid unhygienic conditions as food can get under the gaskets.9. Before placing the order, we read about the reviews on amazon and were a bit skeptical given there are more negative reviews than positive ones. We still placed an order, giving benefit of advantage to the goodwill the brand “Bosch” has created overtime.We would like to highlight that this is one of the better mixer grinder we have found for our kitchen in last one decade. Unlike others, we did not find the noise to be very high (extremely manageable), the caps were leakproof, the blades are sharp and the output exceeds expectations.I would say Bosch lived up to its goodwill and delivered beyond our expectations.

It’s a very good product, however it could have done better with sound and quality of plastic used for outer casing. It is definitely good, but for ₹5000+ it could have been even better. It serves the purpose very well. If anyone looking for idly, dosa Or any other batter grinding I recommend this.

The mixer is good quality but we face issue by in main jar within 10 months of operation and minimal usage. The issue was with blade not fitting properly and hence not able to crush. Upon raising complaint a new jar was asked to pay 550 for replacement jar although it is supposed to be under warranty. The service person wanted to extract money but after confronting him and his manager they replaced it for free. So just make sure on this in case of warranty claim

Edit: Customer service have replaced the jar under warranty. Satisfied with the service experience.Original review: I have been using it for the past 1.5 years, and for the most part it functions as expected though it is a bit noisy as it is a 750w machine. However, the blade on its chutney jar broke recently( while blending tomatoes). When I contacted the service centre, they told me that blades and jars are not covered in warranty, which is extremely disappointing as the blades and jars seem to be of lower quality compared to the rest of the machine which feels robust and well made. I would recommend going for other brands more suited for Indian kitchen’s needs, otherwise you’ll have to continually spend money on repairs and replacements

I find it to be more than tolerable3] I had ordered USHA maximus mixer worth 5k but 1 of the jars lid cap was too tight and was not fitting properly. Caskets were also not fitting tightly. So I returned that and ordered this. The most important part of any mixer is its lock feature and Bosch has nailed it.Cons1] Cost bit high2] Power indicator is not there.I love and prefer Indian brands but my requirement was different .And for those of u who still want USHA then look for other USHA mixers that have a good rating w.r.t lock feature. Dont buy this 1 particular model called USHA maximus. Other Indian brands like ‘SUJATA’ have superb mixer ratings as well.Also first decide whether u want a food processor or juicer mixer grinder or all in 1If u not particular about juicing or food processing features & are just looking for a simple 2-3 jar mixer (for chatni & other wet grinding like batter) then don’t spend more than 3k. In that range u can check bajaj, USHA, Sumeet, Sujata and foreign brands like Havels

So far we had been using prestige mixers for decades. Thank God we made the right choice to switch. Excellent grind. Noise is always a problem in all mixers. Loved the lock. Does grind fast and easy. Chutney and dry grinders are excellent. Wet grinder jar too is good and does the job with flow breaker.

Read many reviews about high noise level. I do find it as similar to that of my old 500w mixer. Looks good. Only concern is on the design of jar cover. A bit over done with curves making it difficult to clean. Juicer has some sharp plastic edges which is very likely to scratch my hand while cleaning.

If you are looking for juicer I won’t recommend it I bought this hoping the same that juicer will work, however juicer only works on pulpy fruits like orange, strawberry…etc. It will not work on hard fruits. Rest all jars are good

Other option I was looking for is the lid locks. 3 grinders and 1 juicer. The juicer looks less messy. Have to try it out. Hope it will hold-up to its reputati.on. It has 2 yrs warranty.

I’ve been using this for 3 months now.The Really bad:The blender jar has a major flaw. If you use it for blending (I have tried lassi, milkshake, smoothies), liquid spills out from the spout when running. I scheduled a warranty service but the technician told me that this jar is only for juicing and the metal jar is for bending. I concluded that it’s a design flaw which Bosch is unwilling to admit. The metal jar can be used for blending, but its small if you’re blending for 3-4 people. This would have been a dealbreaker if I knew this beforehand as I blend a lot.Bad but manageable:1) The metal jar lids are weirdly shaped and lots of liquid gets stuck in it, so you end up wasting a little bit of whatever you’re making. The lids are also much more messy than a regular dome lid and also a little tougher to clean.2) The small cap in the lid for adding things is really loose. You have to be careful when turning the lid upside down or it falls and breaks.3) Food gets stuck in the flow breaker. It’s also not very intuitive to remove and I have a feeling it will be easily broken by the househelp when cleaning.4) Flow breaker and the pounding blade don’t make a noticeable difference to the end result, and I have completely stopped using them.The Good:1) Great looking and has a small footprint2) Noise levels aren’t bad. A 1000 W motor will definitely be louder than a 400 W one (typical home mixie wattage) but even then it’s not super loud and is very manageable.3) Very, very powerful. Pulverises anything you throw at it instantly.

Bosch seems to have a very restricted customer-care system—service centre numbers are not easily available, and product prices are not openly disclosed. Even basic accessories like jars are not available in the open market. I personally faced an issue where the chutney jar got damaged within one year, and the replacement cost was around ₹750–₹950, which is nearly 15% of the cost of the whole mixer. On top of that, they also charge a technician delivery/visit fee.Because of these service and spare-parts issues, I do not recommend this product for general customers in India. It seems Bosch Germany maintains strict control over after-sales service and spare availability, which is not convenient for regular users.
