Bosch TrueMixx Pro Mixer Grinder 1000 Watt-MGM8842MIN, BlackReview:I usually do not write reviews, but I felt I had to write this one, because when I was researching which mixer to buy I found really bad reviews that do not do justice to the product. I went with the trust on Bosch brand name and am extremely satisfied with the product. I have been using it daily, sometimes multiple times in a day for past month during lockdown period. I hope this will help others.Mixer includes +capacity -1 Mixer body1 Plastic blender jar 1500ml + fruit filter,1 Wet grinding jar 1500 ml1 Dry grinding jar 1000 ml1 Chutney grinding jar 400 ml1 extra Pounding Blade1 SpatulaBuild and overall appearance1. The mixer-grinder 1000 watt motor is extremely powerful.I have used it to grind both dry & wet ingredients such asgaram masala, idli/dosa mix, Chana dal paste, Poppy seeds paste,coconut chutney, dry rice and urad dal powder, ginger garlic paste, ice, etc.I regularly blend and make milk shakes, lassis etc and have found it to very fast and convenient.2. Does the job fast within few seconds/minutes depending on the amount and type of ingredients you are working with.3. Body is good looking, sturdy, well balanced and easy to wipe clean.4. The vacuum feet are quite secure and give a true hands free experience.5. Overload protector for added safety helps if you overload the mixer by mistake.6. The jars also are easy to use and quite well-builtJars & Blades1. The jars are metal with removable stainless steel blades.2. Chutney jar blade is fixed.3. An extra blade is provided for stone pounding affect.4. A spatula cum blade changer is provided.5. The Jar lids are made of transparent plastic.6. Each lid has a small top cap which can be removed to add liquids/materials while grinding/blending.7. Each lid has rubber gaskets. In wet blender a flow-breaker is providedSoundSound is high, but that is to be expected in a powerful 1000 watt machine.Do’s & Don’tI feel if we follow certain guidelines we can best out of the product1. Do not overload2. Do not use for more than a minute without giving a little rest.3. When turning the speed knobs – don’t turn all at once from 0 to max. You will see that it works better if you turn knobs slowly, staying at each speed for a few seconds. Actually for most things low to medium speed is enough. The machine is really powerful.4. When grinding large amount of ingredients the jar can heat up ( not the machine) so give a little rest in between.5. For wet grinding – use cold water to grind – that way the jar will never heat up.6. DO NOT grind hot ingredients. Many people have complained about the rubber gaskets melting – that can only have happened if hot food are being blended or ground. Bring food to room temp and then grind.7. Wash the jar, gasket, jars immediately using a sponge and liquid detergent so that the shine of the jar remains intact.8. Always remove and wash the gasket to avoid unhygienic conditions as food can get under the gaskets.9. In the wet blender remove the flow breaker by sliding it off and wash it separately as food particles can get stuck behind it.10. To remove fine particles when dry grinding don’t use a spoon to avoid scratches to the jar. You can use your hand and a brush ( used for this purpose only).11. This is an expensive piece of equipment – In my house only I & my husband use it. We do not allow children or household help/cooks to use it. This way the machine will not be misused.12. If you mixer does not work – please check the overload protector button on the underside of the machine. Remove some of the ingredients and try again.13. Take care while handling jar lids and lid tops – Although they appear quite well made, I cannot say if they will break when dropped.Pros1. The machine is very powerful and delivers what it promises2. It is easy to use and gives truly hands free experience3. Easy to clean4. Grinds and blends everything5. Leak-proof lids.6. Takes very little time to grind7. The motor does not heat up even easily8. A couple of extra lid clasps should be provided – one of my lid clasps was loose, it is working fine at the moment, but as a backup company should provide these.4. As the jars are pretty large, for smaller amount of products it is a little difficult. I wish the smallest chutney jar was usable for both dry & wet grinding rather than only wet.5. The jars do have screws heads on the inner side – but this is not a big deal – and can be cleaned quite easily.

Before placing the order, we read about the reviews on amazon and were a bit skeptical given there are more negative reviews than positive ones. We still placed an order, giving benefit of advantage to the goodwill the brand “Bosch” has created overtime.We would like to highlight that this is one of the better mixer grinder we have found for our kitchen in last one decade. Unlike others, we did not find the noise to be very high (extremely manageable), the caps were leakproof, the blades are sharp and the output exceeds expectations.I would say Bosch lived up to its goodwill and delivered beyond our expectations.

Pretty noisy but way too powerful so other than the noise you will have nothing to complain about. But then again that much of noise is normal for powerful mixer of this sort I guess . Besides hands down this ought to be the most stylish mixer grinder I have ever seen I guess do premium feel and finish

Superb grinder

It’s a very good product, however it could have done better with sound and quality of plastic used for outer casing. It is definitely good, but for ₹5000+ it could have been even better. It serves the purpose very well. If anyone looking for idly, dosa Or any other batter grinding I recommend this.

I am reviewing this product after thoroughly using it for 9 months. My review will be short, precise and divided into 3 sections, namely : pros, cons & satisfaction levels.My mother and wife take care of the kitchen at our home. They were in dire need of a heavy-duty mixer grinder for quite sometime. In the past 25 years, we have used Havells (3 models), Philips (2 models), Braun (1 model) & Kitchen-Aid (1 model) ; and barring Kitchen-Aid, Braun is the only one still in use. Well somewhat 😊So, you can be rest assured that my family really puts in the weight onto the “Heavy-duty” & sometimes unjustly so. Keeping that in mind, we bought the Bosch Pro 1000w this time around, with the expectation that it should last the way it says it does.Pros :(1) Well Built(2) Solid plastic quality(3) Neat & Clean engineering on the inside : what i mean is that wires are neatly tied, are of apt length and thickness. The motor is also quality-built with thick copper wires, and thick enamel coating on the stator/rotor windings. I can’t explain a lot here, but since i am an electrical engineer, i hope you take my word for it.(4) It has a separate pounder blade which Bosch said would pound masalas (gol mirch, saunf, rice (for dosa), sambhar, turmeric sticks, etc) to dust.And for 8 months straight the machine did the job well. My mother went on to pound sugar too. I cautioned her not to. But she did it anyways. Surprisingly the machine kept on going. Then one fine day, she pounded jaggery dollops into powder as well. And the machine gave up. I have attached the pic of the white plastic groove that became free due to this. Due to Covid-19 lockdown in my district, Bosch took 22 days to replace that white plastic groove.Cons:(1) A ₹30/- groove should be available with the local service guy. It should not be imported from Mumbai. That’s just poor logistics and poorer decision-making skills. Havells product quality is way poorer than Bosch but their service and spare-part availability is exemplary 1-7 days max & your problem is resolved. Philips is the most pathetic at 60 days minimum for anything.(2) “Heavy Duty” was not “Heavy-duty” enough.Customer Satisfaction :Bosch. You guys are good. I will give you that. But you have never met anybody like an Indian Customer. Our households will put your claims to test, and they don’t see things from an engineering point-of-view. They test it to the point-of-failure. Next time you depict an ad saying “my pounder blade can pound sticks and gol mirch and what not”, make sure it can pound stones. If you argue, Indians won’t fight much. They will simply dump your brand.

Effective with grinding etc. Looks nice. Fitting of jars is assuring, knobs are tactile and feel good when using. About 10% faster in grinding over a 600 w Philips grinder.Don’t like the finish of the couplers, blade etc they look cheap, and perhaps hand made in some tier 3 factory.Noise.. Don’t even ask. It’s a like a lawn mover at work. Perhaps similar to other 750 w grinders..Overall a good product. Does its job well!

We were using Preethi Mixer grinder and Ultra till date. Since our requirement was for a powerful machine, we went for this.A very good product. Noise level is little more but considering the fact that it is a 1000 W machine, that is okay. We are using it for almost one month, but no major issues. If you are a south indian, go for it.

The product came on time. Tested all the parts. The first two jar sizes had the blades little loose. Other than that, all the products are of good quality. The machine is fast in making smoothies or chutneys or powders. The sound level is little high, probably because it is 750watts. If the sound is little lower it would be perfect.Update(after 1+month use): the shape of the jar at the top is difficult when we pour chutney or smoothie out of the jar. If it was even, pouring would be easier. This gives double work of cleaning the jar with spoon or hands after pouring.

I can’t believe we purchased this product during the so-called “Great Indian Amazon Sale,” supposedly at a discounted rate and with an exchange deal. What a joke! When the product finally arrived, they took away our old mixer grinder, and guess what? The package was a total disaster. It was crystal clear that this was not the original packaging, and the box was in shambles. As if that weren’t enough, the contents inside were all haphazard, and the juice jar had a massive, infuriating crack in it.I immediately dialed Amazon for a replacement, and that’s when the truth hit me like a ton of bricks. This entire “Great Indian Sale” by Amazon is nothing but a scheme to dump damaged goods on unsuspecting customers! Can you believe it? After going through the whole ordeal of uploading pictures of the damaged product, they conveniently informed us that they couldn’t replace it because they supposedly didn’t have it in stock. But wait, it gets better – they were willing to give us a refund, but guess what? The product’s price had shot up by a whopping 1000 bucks by then. So essentially, if we returned the item and bought it again, we’d end up paying way more.To make matters worse, when I checked Amazon’s website, the product was clearly available, but their agent kept insisting they couldn’t see it on their end. Through all of this, they had already taken our perfectly functioning old mixer and were now refusing to return it. This whole ordeal is nothing short of a massive, infuriating scam! Customers are left with only two lousy options: keep the shoddy product or return it, get back less money than they initially spent, and then shell out a lot more to repurchase the same item. All the while, Amazon is walking away with your perfectly good old mixer, laughing all the way to the bank.Consider this a stern warning to all customers out there – stay far, far away from buying electrical or electronic products on Amazon. It worked ok initially and the delivery was prompt; those were the good bits. In less than 2 years, each of the jars stopped working and now none of them work and the seller will not respond via Amazon. You cannot get it repaired or source replacement jars. Waste of money and resources and an unresponsive seller.They give you a HK number to call !!

I’ve been using this for 3 months now.The Really bad:The blender jar has a major flaw. If you use it for blending (I have tried lassi, milkshake, smoothies), liquid spills out from the spout when running. I scheduled a warranty service but the technician told me that this jar is only for juicing and the metal jar is for bending. I concluded that it’s a design flaw which Bosch is unwilling to admit. The metal jar can be used for blending, but its small if you’re blending for 3-4 people. This would have been a dealbreaker if I knew this beforehand as I blend a lot.Bad but manageable:1) The metal jar lids are weirdly shaped and lots of liquid gets stuck in it, so you end up wasting a little bit of whatever you’re making. The lids are also much more messy than a regular dome lid and also a little tougher to clean.2) The small cap in the lid for adding things is really loose. You have to be careful when turning the lid upside down or it falls and breaks.3) Food gets stuck in the flow breaker. It’s also not very intuitive to remove and I have a feeling it will be easily broken by the househelp when cleaning.4) Flow breaker and the pounding blade don’t make a noticeable difference to the end result, and I have completely stopped using them.The Good:1) Great looking and has a small footprint2) Noise levels aren’t bad. A 1000 W motor will definitely be louder than a 400 W one (typical home mixie wattage) but even then it’s not super loud and is very manageable.3) Very, very powerful. Pulverises anything you throw at it instantly.

The main engine is very good and the jars are ok but not upto the best quality. Sound is ok not bad. One gripe button to close the lid of medium jar is slipping out and so not closing it properly. Tried calling customer service a few times but the call was getting disconnected without connecting to an agent. That’s not what expected from Bosch.

Writing review after a year, used this product for more than a year it’s quick and superb performance even used for grinding grains and also used to make sambar powder . Lids are leak proof. Price is bit high compared to other brands but quality wise a good one

The grinder is very powerful and it grinds very fine.The batter for dosa/ idli is really done fine to make amazing crisp dosas.All the jars does the job aptly.really a recommended brand.

NAAM BADE DARSHAN KHOTE. bought this expensive model considering it would sustain over the years. But it started with loud noise which we tolerated and then suddenly we started getting burning smell from inside. Please do not buy it.

The sturdyness, quality of the product is really good. Having its powerfull 750 watts motor it grinds the product to it perfect level. Size is compact along with accessories. Lids of the grinding bowl is great.

Motor is broken just after 2 years warranty, cheaper mixers are better than this product fr7m Bosch, despite bring a premium brand, not a durable product, precarious product.Regret buying this junk.

Satisfied with the product quality

The mini jar of it, is so versatile that I use it to make smoothies, all sorts of chutneys, and grind dry powders finely. Furthermore, its cap is leak-proof to the extent that you can even whirl water in it. The only downside is that it’s quite noisy.

I though brand name being Bosch it will be very strong but within 1 month jug handle is loose, 1 of the 4 suction leg has come off making the blender becoming very unstable when blending. I am quite disappointed with the product. Not to say that it comes with an Indian Plug and not EU or UK plug.

I am using this product since 2021 and quality of this product is not bad. But My Chutney grinding bottom part is damaged since I use this jar most of the time. I try to find out the product but its 1400 which is very high. If bottom part of the jar is available somewhere including the blade that will be awesome. I have attached a screenshot which part I need. Please reply if its available or not.

Received package today on time butMain unit (Motor) packaging has big scratches on left side, the scratches on the body of mixer is very deep and its inside packaging also damaged. It seems it has damaged during packing in the main packaging box as main box is undamaged. Although the unit is functional.
